Girardin Moulding, Inc. makes one product, and one product onl-- vinyl shutters. That says a lot about the quality you can expect from a company that has been producing vinyl shutters since 1961, and it says even more that we have been installing Girardin shutters over that same period of time. Girardin vinyl shutters are available in 14" wide traditional louver, 14" cathedral top louver and 14" raised panel styles. Custom widths are also available in 6", 8", 10", 12" and 18". Girardin also offers quarter round arch top shutters in 14" widths. Choose from 11 decorator colors.

Mid-America offers a complete line of vinyl shutters and vinyl accessory components (see below for
accessories). Their vinyl shutter products include 15" cathedral open louver, 15" Williamsburg raised panel, 12" and 14" Board-n-Batten, and Quarter Round Arch Top style shutters. Available in 20 distinctive colors.

Mid-America also manufactures custom sizes and styles, with custom widths and double widths up to 31" wide, and custom heights from 24" to 144" in 1/4" increments. Custom size shutters are available in 18 colors.

At North Star-Bailey, every siding job includes the installation of attractive vinyl mounts and blocks made by Mid-America , the industry leader in vinyl components.

What makes the Mid-America components most attractive is in the design of the products. There is a nailing flange built into each component with an adjustable snap on trim piece that finishes off the siding receiving channel, making for a very attractive look without the use of J-channels. These components add the perfect finish to all North Star-Bailey siding installations.

Gable Vents can add a distinctive look to your home

Gable vents are rarely used in today's newly built homes, but in older homes, gable vents were the standard for ventilating the attic area of the home. If you look up at the peak on the gable ends of an older home, you will more than likely see an old wooden louvered vent, the most common size being 12" wide by 18" tall.

These old wooden vents can be replaced with the same size and style as the original, or you may choose to add a new look to the gable walls of your home with a different shape or size.

Mid-America gable vents come in many different shapes and sizes, including oval shape, round top, round, rectangular, square, octagon and half round. Special shapes are also available in elongated octagon, horizontal oval, diamond and triangle shaped louvers. Each gable vent style includes a sealed in fiberglass insect screen and are available in many colors to coordinate with the siding or trim colors of your home.
